Community Cats

Curious Cats is a grassroots team of concerned citizens working to improve the lives of free-roaming cats in our community.  

Curious Cats was founded in 2022 by Kathie Stafford and Sonya Anderson, we focus on humane solutions—like spay/neuter programs—to stabilize cat colonies and reduce overpopulation. No fancy funding, just hands-on care and collaboration with neighbors who want to make a difference.   Together Kathie and Sonya have over 60 years of experience, taking care of animals..  the list of animals are snakes, spiders, cats dogs horses barn owls, birds

**Why "Curious"?** Because every cat (and every problem solver) starts with curiosity—and we’re determined to find answers.  

**Community engagement is essential to our mission of managing and reducing the local cat population humanely.** By working closely with residents, we can identify areas where free-roaming cats are most active, allowing us to focus our spay and neuter efforts effectively. Your reports and involvement help ensure that fewer kittens are born into hardship while improving the health and stability of community cats. Together, we can create a lasting impact—one cat at a time.
